Al-Malkiyya was a Palestinian/Lebanese Shiite village, one of seven Shia villages that ended up on the Palestinian side of the border when the British and French finished carving up al-Sham in 1924. About 400 people lived in Malkiyya on the eve of the Nakba.

During the 1948 war, control of the village switched between the warring parties several times, until it was eventually captured by the IDF during Operation Hiram, in October 1948.

Today, the site of the village is within a closed military area (even before the current war).
Kibbutz Malkia was established on the village's land.

⭕️ Rocket alerts in various Israeli settlement in the northern Galilee.

Just a few earlier, Hezbullah engaged Israeli bases in Shebaa and Kafarshouba. The Israeli army attacked back with artillery.

-A house in Teir Harfa with an airstrike (pictured)

- The outskirts of the towns of Kfarshouba and Kfarhamam with artillery

- The main road in the town of Kfarkila with an airstrike

-A car in Aita al-Jabal with drone strikes

-The northern part of Mays al-Jabal with a drone strike and an airstrike

⭕️ The initial toll of the attacks on Aita al-Jabal is 2 deaths, with one of them being a 7 year old child.

⭕️ The airstrike in Teir Harfa resulted in 3 martyrs.

⭕️ An Israeli drone strike targeted a motorcycle in the village of Aitaroun, with initial reports of one injured

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelling targets Tellet al-'Azziyeh, which lies between the villages of Kfarkila and Deir Mimas.

⭕️ Sirens sound in Shtula in the Western Galilee.

📄 Hezbullah takes credit for 3 operations so far today that targeted the Jewish enemy

- Attacking espionage equipment in Mount Meron's air traffic control base with appropriate weapons, in response to Israel's attacks on southern villages. They add that the equipment was destroyed.

- Attacking the Al-Malkiyah site with artillery.

- Targeting an Israeli soldier staging ground in the vicinity of Al-Khazan with artillery.

The IDF claims the attack on Meron consisted 3 projectiles, one of which they intercepted. As for Al-Malkiyah, they counted a total of 15 projectiles which were fired in 2 waves. No injuries in either attack.

This has recently become a frequent occurance and part of an intimidation campaign.

📹 The Israeli army released two videos showing their targeted assassination in Aita al-Jabal against whom they claimed is a "significant member in Hezbullah's rocket array".

📹 Additionally, the Israeli army claims to have attacked another individual near Mays al-Jabal, claiming he was part of a rocket attack earlier.

🥀 Hezbullah mourns the loss and celebrates the martyrdom of its honorable fighter Hussein Mohammad Shuqair, who was killed in his own hometown of Mays al-Jabal.

🛑 A new Israeli targeted assassination today, the 5th if we include combat drone strikes on individuals, on Tyre road towards Teirdeba.

🥀 Hezbullah mourns the loss and celebrates the martyrdom of its honorable fighter Mohammed Mahmoud Najem, born in 1971, who was murdered in an Israeli targeted assassination in his own hometown off-duty during a family visit.

The Israeli army claims he's a significant member of Hezbullah's rocket array.

He was killed alongside another man, and the son (child) of his sister.
