📄 Despite absolute calm from Lebanon and no attacks on Israel for the past 24+ hours, the Israeli terrorist army attacked

- With artillery the villages Naqoura, Alma Al-Shaab, Al-Dhahira, Yarin, Al-Zaloutiyah, Ramia, and Al-Quzah.

- An airstrike on the eastern outskirts of the town of Shaqra, towards the valley

📋 A woman and her four children were lightly injured in the Israeli attack on Shaqra village. They are refugees from Hula village.

📹 The Israeli terrorist army released footage of their aggression on four locations in south Lebanon, in Shaqra and Taybeh Mhaibib and Kafr Kila.

The attack in Shaqra injured a mother and her 4 children.

📄 About 4 days have passed and the army didn't comment on their attack on Jnata, that killed two female civilians and injured many more civilians.

✍ The last attack from Lebanon towards Israel was yesterday before 2 pm, on a day when only 2 attacks were announced.

🗣 Israeli army spokesman issued a full statement dedicated to attack Hezbullah and accuse it of dragging Lebanon and the region to a much greater war for the decision it took on 8-October.

In his statement, he says Israel is ready to do what's necessary to return peace in the north and detter another 7-October.

"Israel will take the necessary measures to protect its civilians, until security along our border with Lebanon is restored,"

Hagari warns that "one way or another we will ensure the safe and secure return of Israelis to their homes in Northern Israel. That is not up for negotiation."

"October 7th cannot happen again, on any one of Israel's borders. Israel has a duty to defend the people of Israel. We will fulfill that duty, at all costs," Hagari adds.

✍ The IDF continues to signal the seriousness of its intentions regarding Hezbullah, now also in a statement addressed to the world in English.

There are many variables, real intentions, bluffs, and many more things going on behind the scenes. Its not that or that.

Israel is still hoping that after the Rafah operation ends, they will try to negotiate a ceasefire in Lebanon too. And if this fails, ending the battle in Rafah is important before starting a war in Lebanon.

Hezbullah on the other hand said they aren't in a full scale war, and that as soon as it ends in Gaza they will stop. Israel knows they are honest about this stance.

So Israel is working on weaking Hezbullah for two reasons or two scenarios:
1- As a punishment for involvement if this ends with peace
2- As a needed prerequisite before the war

Regardless if this ends with peace, Israel learned more how 2006-Hezbullah evolved and they will prepare to attack sooner than later after that peace to end that threat.

The US is worried and wants to avoid at any cost such a regional war before the US elections.

As for Netanyahu? He's trying to survive politically until Trump is back at office.

Hundreds of locals visited their villages today in south Lebanese and on the frontline, to pray and visit the cemeteries.

📷 Not long after people started leaving, an Israeli airstrike was carried in Mays al-Jabal.

This is despite no attacks from Lebanon!

📷 Additionally, heavy artillery targeted the Lebanese villages of Kfarhammam, Shebaa, Shaheen, etc.

Overnight, artillery attacked Aitaroun and Bint Jbeil with heavy artillery.

📑 U.S. envoy Hochstein delinks Gaza from Lebanon front and indirectly informs Hezbollah what it will take to bring quiet along border

He says truce in Gaza will not necessarily automatically extend to Lebanon. Hochstein says a temporary ceasefire is not enough; limited war is not containable. Security paradigm along blue line has to change, this guarantees everyone security

"US remains committed to advance lasting security solutions achieved through diplomatic process that will allow Lebanese to return safely to their homes and allow Israelis to return home safely in northern Israel. We are hopeful we can get there"

He met today with all Lebanese officials and political families, excluding Hezbullah.

📑 Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbullah Sheikh Naim Qassem:

"Envoys come to Lebanon to discuss Israeli threats, [but] no one talks about stopping the aggression on Gaza; they say the aggression on Gaza will continue; we have said those who want to mediate must mediate an end to the aggression.

...they should not mediate to prevent support [to Gaza] against the aggression."

📝 Reminder that Hezbullah isn't fighting a war against Israel but is presenting itself as a front to pressure Israel to end the war in Gaza.

How effective, that's not for me to assess, but a war has different standards, calculations, and events. Israel might drag this to a war or conclude this battle by the conclusion of the war in Gaza.

📄 France and the US scramble to avoid a greater war in the Middle East

A senior adviser to US President Joe Biden will travel to Israel on Monday for meetings to avoid further escalation between Israel and Lebanon, a White House official said on Sunday.

Amos Hochstein will advance efforts to avoid further escalation along the "Blue Line" between Israel and Lebanon, said the official, who did not wish to be identified.

After the relatively heavy exchanges over the past week, Sunday saw a halt in Hezbullah fire, while the Israeli military said that it had carried out several air strikes against the group in southern Lebanon.

The US and France are working on a negotiated settlement to the hostilities along Lebanon's southern border. Hezbollah says it will not halt fire unless Israel stops its military offensive on Gaza.

However, Israel has informed negotiators that if Hezbullah doesn't stop now, stopping after the war ends in Gaza won't be enough and Israel will not accept it then.

🌷 Hezbullah mourns the martyrdom of Mohammed Mustafa Ayoub, 1979, who was martyred on the path to Jerusalem and in defence of south Lebanon.

He was killed in a drone strike in Sala', his own hometown during a visit during Eid.

⭕️ More than 48 hours have passed since the last attack by Hezbullah on the Israeli enemy.

📄 US envoy Amos Hochstein arrived today in Israel met with the Israeli Prime Minister to discuss the situation with Lebanon and attempt to find a political solution with Hezbullah for a ceasefire.
