The attack targeted the officers' and soldiers' barracks, and was in the continued series of retaliation to the crime in Jwaya that murdered Abu Taleb.

🇺🇸 US fears a major war in Lebanon, calls on Israeli officials to visit the Pentagon ASAP

Israeli Defense Minister Gallant will soon visit the USA according to the Pentagon spokesman, in their last conversation a few days ago.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin invited Gallant to visit the Pentagon to discuss security developments in the Middle East. Gallant accepted the invitation.

Gallant's expected visit to the US comes amid American fears of an all-out war between Israel and Hezbullah on the Lebanese border.

This morning, the American CBS network reported that senior officials in the United States express fear of such a wide escalation, which would require intervention by the United States.

The US assess that without their help, the Israeli army will face huge set of obstacles and failures.

⭕️ A representative of the Secretary-General of Hezbullah, Sheikh Ali Jaber, in a statement to Shehab Agency:

“As of this moment, Washington does not want to expand the scope of the war, for the fear that the situation in the entire region will explode if a war breaks out in Lebanon.”

🔻 8 Israeli soldiers were burned to death after their Namer armored personnel carrier was attacked this morning in Rafah, Gaza.

Only a druze deputy commander of an engineering unit was named.

- The resistance in south Lebanon is very well and in good shape
- They are fighting in a very small area to avoid Israeli expansion and to save their lives
- Regards to Hezbullah's SG Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
- Threat to the Israeli leadership and telling settlers than their government is lying

- Kherbet Ma'ar base with a swarm of suicide drones. All impacted and the Israeli army failed to detect and intercept.

- Mount Meron air control base with two ATGMs

- Soldiers in Hadb Yaroun base with an ATGM

✍ Hezbullah's successful attacks in Mount Meron or other strategic Israeli bases have always been countered with Israeli retaliations deep in Lebanon.

In such events, Israel attacked locations north of the Litani or in Baalbek. What is different today?

Israeli senior journalists have been asking this question and the answer came from the IDF officials: "It is an acceptable price to pay and damage to absorb after we killed Hezbullah's Abu Taleb."

This sinister logic is an Israeli modus operandi, allowing Hezbullah or any other resistance faction to steam off after being hit badly, losing men whose experience spans over decades, for a price paid in dollar in material losses.

Equipment can be replaced and money can be generated, but those dead are out of the game and their experience isn't easily replaced.

📄 The Israeli army disobeys the government, implements a daily 12 hour truce

The Israeli military says it will carry out a daily "tactical pause of military activity" in areas of the southern Gaza Strip to enable humanitarian aid to be delivered to Palestinians.

The IDF says the pause will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. every day along a road that leads from the Kerem Shalom Crossing to the Salah a-Din road, and then northward toward the Khan Younis area.

In reality, this step was done because the Israeli army lost direction and is facing difficulties there with the lack of political will to act with full force in Rafah. This is causing casualties in their ranks and giving Hamas ability to maneuver.

This announcement didn't sit well with the Israeli prime minister, who issued an angry statement announcing this truce was not approved by him:

"There was no coordination with me and there will be no such truce. This will not happen. There is an investigation into how an announcement like this was issued without coordination with the political level."
