A senior leadership group was targeted

🌷 Hezbullah mourns the senior commander Taleb Sami Abdullah, on the path to Jerusalem and in defense of south Lebanon.

He was born in 1969 in Adsheet village.

He is the only second to be called a "commander" in official mourning statements, highlighting his senior position.

He was murdered in the Israeli attack in Jwaya village, some 15 km from the Lebanese border.

Ali Sawfan is a commander too, but not as senior. Hussein is the brother of two martyrs who rose in the 2006 war.

🌷 Taleb is reportedly the commander of Hezbullah's Nasr Division, one of the most important in Hezbullah in south Lebanon.

The Nasr Unit is responsible for the area between the Israeli border and the Litani, alongside side Azeez unit.

In earlier assassinations 2 of its 4 sector (brigade) commanders, the Coastal and Ramim Ridge sectors, were martyred.

The Nasr Unit is the first line of defense for Hezbullah against Israel in the case of an invasion.

It is devided to about 4 sub-units by sectors: Coastal-Tyre, Central, Bint-Jbeil, and Marjyoun-Shebba.
