🌷 Over 140 mass graves, many containing hundreds of bodies, have been documented since October 15, 2023.

Hundreds of bodies have been removed from mass graves in Nasser Hospital and Al-Shifa Medical Complex, a grim page in the record of violations committed by Israeli forces.

The EuroMedHR field teams witnessed the extraction of dozens of victims from mass graves in Al-Shifa and observed the removal of the bodies of handcuffed victims and others injured but denied medical care, who were executed.

It has been documented that some patients' bodies were extracted, with urinary catheters and medical files still attached, from two pits at Al-Shifa.

Most of the recovered bodies have decomposed, some showing signs of having been gnawed on by cats and dogs, as Israeli forces have hindered their extraction over the past few months.

Thousands of destroyed homes in multi-story buildings have also become mass graves, as their residents remain buried, either due to a lack of technical means to remove the rubble or because these buildings are located in areas under Israeli army operations.

Estimates indicate that more than 13,000 Palestinians are either missing under the rubble, dead in random mass graves, forcibly hidden in Israeli prisons and detention centers, or have been killed inside.

After 3 days of digging, Gaza's Civil Defense has recovered 344 bodies from a mass grave at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, two weeks after the Israeli withdrawal on April ⁠7. (CNN)

IDF had laid siege to and raided the facility in early February. An estimated 700 people are unaccounted for following the army's attack, according to the Gaza gov't media office. (L'Orient)

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said he was “horrified” by reports from both the Nasser and Al-Shifa facilities:

“Given the prevailing climate of impunity, this should include international investigators”, Türk said. “The intentional killing of civilians, detainees, and others who are hors de combat [irretrievably injured] is a war crime.”

The brigade will be replaced by two reserve brigades in central Gaza:

-  679th "Yiftah" Armored Brigade
- 2nd "Carmeli" Infantry Brigade

📷 Fire ongoing in the hills of Yaroun village as a result of an Israeli phosphorus attack.

🤡 According to Israeli media, the head of the IDF Air Force Tomer Bar participated himself in the intensive attack raid on Aita al-Shaab yesterday.

The attack targeted empty hills, and resulted in no damages nor casualties.

The video of the prisoner published by the Al-Qassam Brigades yesterday was shown on a screen near the headquarters of the Ministry of the Occupation Army in Tel Aviv.

Update: Civil Defense in Gaza: We exhumed 392 bodies from the mass grave in the Nasser Medical Complex in the city of Khan Younis, 58% of which we could not identify.

📹 The Israeli attacks resulted in a lot of fires on the Lebanese border.

The heroes of the Islamic Civil Defense and firefighters were dispatched to help put them out, as close as the border wall.
