📷 Last year or so, the Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant revealed aerial footage of an airfield established by Hezbullah in the Jabbor area, southern Lebanon.

These mountains are under heavy attacks in the past few days and tonight.

📹 The Israeli army takes credit and released footage of the targeted assassination earlier today at 8 am near Al-Zahrani, against whom they described as a senior member of Hezbullah's air defense units.

They allege his killing will cause "significant harm to Hezbollah's abilities".

🌷 Hezbullah mourns the martyrdom of Hussein Ali Azqoul, who was martyred on the path to Jerusalem and in defence of south Lebanon.

He was murdered in the targeted assassination on Al-Zahrani road, likely going back home.

He lives in Adloun, originally from Qalaya village, born in 1981. He is an engineer by profession.

🌷 Hezbullah also mourned a couple of hours before, Mohammed Khalil Atteyeh, on the path to Jerusalem and in defence of south Lebanon.

He is from Sarafand village and born in 1994. He was also assassinated by the Israeli army overnight, who allege he was a member of Ridwan Force's aerial unit (drone).

⚠️ Hezbullah issued the following statement:

In response to the attack on Adloun village and the assassination of a brother...

Hezbullah launched a combined air attack against the Golani Brigade headquarters and the headquarters of Egoz Unit 621 in the Sharaga barracks, north of the occupied city of Akko, and hit their targets accurately. ‏

The statement adds that decoy drones were used to pave the path to the suicide drones.

Higher Resolution Satellite Images Reveal No Damage to Iranian Radars

📝 With these images, we can now confirm the results of the Israeli response. While successful in having inside agents conduct the covert operation using quadcopters, they failed to reach their target before being shot down.

Iranian officials promised an even harsher retaliation for any Israeli operations against Iran, but didn't deliver. However, this outcome is what the Israeli side was betting on. Their decision to use quadcopters and attempt to do minimal damage, while also not officially taking credit for the operation nor discussing it, was to ensure Iran wouldn't feel obliged to respond. While we can't know Iran's reaction had the Israeli attack been successful, its failure now does not warrant a response at all.

As concluded prior, this round of escalation ended with Iran successfully establishing deterrence, as already demonstrated by Israel's lackluster retaliation; a mere attempt to save face after Iran's challenge.
