Commander of the Northern Command, Major General Uri Gordin met today with the local authorities in the Galilee and said

“The local leadership is of great importance in cooperating with the IDF, with us. I want to tell you - we are determined to create a better, safer and calmer situation here in the north.

There is no need to exaggerate our offensive activity, it sounds good in words, but believe me, the situation is very good and comfortable form the skies of Lebanon, near and far.

We are continuing to strike Hezbullah, and are determined to repel it and destroy its infrastructure. But this is not enough.

This week we have advanced another step on the ladder of readiness, with training forces and learning from the fighting in the south."

⚠️ More Israeli threats and show of will to further escalate the war with Lebanon

Israeli war minister Gallant met today the ever-busy recently head of the Northern Command in the Israeli army and discussed the situation with Lebanon.

Defense Minister Gallant in assessing the situation in the Northern Command:

“We will expand the campaign and increase the rate of attacks in the North. Israel is moving from being driven to pursuing Hezbillah - to actively attacking and reaching every place where the organization operates - in Beirut, Damascus and beyond - we will increase the pace of the campaign.”

📝 Killing today what they claimed is the deputy head of Hezbullah's rocket array, if true, is a massive escalation and a loss to Hezbullah. The Israeli will to attack Hezbullah in Syria where it is exposed, is also very dangerous.

Any show of weakness by Hezbullah will be treated as a greenlight that will encourage Israel for increasing the pace. The battle is slipping to a dangerous place and as of now, the very little losses faced by the army on this front is making this war effort sustainable to it.
