He says truce in Gaza will not necessarily automatically extend to Lebanon. Hochstein says a temporary ceasefire is not enough; limited war is not containable. Security paradigm along blue line has to change, this guarantees everyone security

"US remains committed to advance lasting security solutions achieved through diplomatic process that will allow Lebanese to return safely to their homes and allow Israelis to return home safely in northern Israel. We are hopeful we can get there"

He met today with all Lebanese officials and political families, excluding Hezbullah.

📝 Reminder that Hezbullah isn't fighting a war against Israel but is presenting itself as a front to pressure Israel to end the war in Gaza.

How effective, that's not for me to assess, but a war has different standards, calculations, and events. Israel might drag this to a war or conclude this battle by the conclusion of the war in Gaza.

📑 Yesterday's attack on northern Israel, which claimed the life of a foreign national, is confirmed Indian.

After his death, the Indian embassy asked all its citizens to avoid working on the frontline and move to safer places on the frontlines.

However, Israel's agricultural economy is very dependent on the North [Lebanese border area] in addition to the Golan Heights. As of now, the conflict only affected a portion of that.

The 31 y/o Indian laborer, who was killed in Margaliot, arrived to Israel in December 2023. The attack was unlikely carried by Hezbullah, based on some local rumors.
