In his statement, he said all the detterence created by Hezbullah has collapsed alongside all equations, and the Israeli air force is working anywhere it wants, over Lebanon and Syria.

He adds that he doesn't hope to lead a war in Lebanon, but the IDF is ready for that when he barks such orders.

If true, the attack would be framed as a retaliation to the drone infiltration into Israel earlier yesterday. An excuse by Israel to make Hezbullah pay a high toll to actions still bound by the current level of escalation.

🗞️ Due to the rampage carried by by many Jewish soldiers in Gaza, from intentional destruction of property, theft, manipulation, and revenge videos, the Israeli army chief of staff states his intentions to investigate these cases.

For months now, soldiers have recorded themselves stealing from houses, destroying property for fun, shooting at houses, playing with civilian stuff at their homes, revenge videos again civilians. It is all documented.

However such, will never result in the punishment of any commander who allowed these actions or soldiers. At most, some soldiers will get a gentle tap on their hands.

🗞️ The letter published by the CoS of the Jewish army Halevi clearly implies the fear from the repercussion of such actions on the image of the IDF in the international community.

That precedes any concerns about actual conduct in the Palestinian territories, which he none his predecessors actually cared about.

🗞️ Hezbullah issued three statements this morning, in two announcing an attack on soldiers' staging grounds inside Even Menahim and Shomera settlements.

In the third, an attack on two buildings in response to the attack on Lebanese villages and civilian houses.

🌷 Lebanese child Amal Al-Dur succumbed to her wounds from the recent Israeli airstrike on south Lebanon.

🗞️ Earlier this morning, Hezbullah attacked the the headquarters of the 769th Eastern Brigade in the Kiryat Shmona Barracks with suitable weapons.

The local authorities claimed no impacts happened and it all fell in open area. This was refuted by photos from Lebanon.

🗞️ An additional attack by Hezbullah targeted a house in Kfar Yuval settlement, claiming soldiers were spotted using it.

This is the excuse being used to match the Israeli claims on why it's attacking civilian homes in Lebanon, claiming they spotted someone enter it.
