Follow-up on the Saint Porphyrius Church massacre in Gaza
On Oct 19, reports on social media said the church was destroyed by the Israeli army during a wave of violent airstrikes on the city. Thankfully, the church was not targeted in itself (photo 1) or destroyed. Only a wall was lighty damaged. This was verified through photos during daylight.
What happened was the collapse of the church's administrative building due to the Israeli explosive's shock wave (photos 2 & 3).
This unfortunate incident claimed the lives of 18 Palestinians, including 8 children, mostly Christians (photos 4 & 5).

⋯ Former U.S. Congressman Justin Amash, who is a Palestinian Christian himself, said that several members of his family were killed at the Saint Porphyrius Church in Gaza, where they had been sheltering from Israeli airstrikes.
Namely, Samaa al-Amash, Yara al-Amash and Viola al-Amash died following the IDF raids.

In a tweet that's already deleted by the Israeli army, viewers can see an airstrike just across the church, which caused both material damage to it, collapsed the administration building killing refugees inside, and putting everyone around at risk.
