⋯ Currently, the Syrian airport's runway in Damascus is completely out of service and repairs will take weeks if not months. This is a blow to Iran's cargo shipments to Syria unless a nearby airport is used but the cost of much more time and effort.

⋯ This is a blow to Syria's civilian sector and will cause a halt on the traffic between Syria and the remaining few countries that normalized with it.
