Palestine: The IDF will NOT open a criminal investigation into the death of Al-Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, killed in Jenin last week, according to Jerusalem Post's military correspondent Anna Ahronheim.
While IDF does not prosecute its soldiers for crimes against Palestinians, it is reported by AP that the Israeli military “has identified a soldier's rifle that may have killed” the journalist, “but [it] said it cannot be certain unless the Palestinians turn over the bullet for analysis”.
