The Guardian uncovered a video from 2013 of Syrian army soldiers rounding up civilians, executing and burning them inside a pit in a Damascus neighborhood.

Amjad Youssef, from military intelligence Unit 227, was identified in the video. The crime likely happened to warn pro-revolution elements in the neighborhood of Tadamoun.
