The USA envoy delivered to the USA administration a vow by the Lebanese army commander to not demand line 29 as Lebanon's legal maritime border line.

⋯ The Israeli-American energy envoy Amos Hochstein notified all Lebanese officials that line 29 won't be accepted as a border to start negotiating from.

⋯ It was proposed that Total extracts gas from the Lebanese side and an American company from the Israeli side, and what intersects is divided between the two countries equally.

⋯ Amos Hochstein proposed a joint Lebanese-Israeli ‘Treasury Fund’ to distribute the wealth of the joint gas fields.

Bahrain: An Israeli Navy officer will be permanently stationed in Bahrain!

The senior navy officer, who is expected to arrive in the Gulf state over the next few weeks, will be entrusted with maintaining communications with the US Navy's 5th fleet, which is based in Bahrain.
