The IDF warned civilians not to move south of designated village lines or approach the Litani River, Salhani Valley, and Sluqi areas, and instructed residents not to return to dozens of villages across the south until further notice.

⚡️🇮🇱🇱🇧🇺🇸 The Lebanese President Joseph Aoun announced that a meeting will be held in Washington, D.C. this evening to discuss extending the ceasefire, including halting the destruction of homes and attacks on civilians, places of worship, journalists, and medical and educational personnel.

Lebanon’s ambassador to the United States, Nada Hamadeh Mouawad, will present these demands during the talks and push for their inclusion.

President Joseph Aoun also stated that communications with Donald Trump focused on securing a ceasefire and launching negotiations aimed at ending the state of war with Israel.
