یکی از اشتباهات زبان آموزان و حتی برخی اساتید محترم زبان اینه که در پاسخ به عبارت‌های زیر، از Me too استفاده می‌کنند:

🔸Nice to meet you
🔸Glad to see you
🔸Pleased to meet you

🔹در واقع شما باید در پاسخ به عبارت‌های بالا از You too استفاده کنید (و نه me too). پس:

🅰 (It’s) nice to meet you.
🅱 (It’s nice to meet) you too.

🔹پس You too یعنی "من هم از دیدن شما خوشحالم" در حالی که Me too در این موقعیت یعنی "من هم از دیدن خودم خوشحالم!".

❤️ Wash hand:
دستت رو بشویی و از جریانی کنار/دست بکشی
مثال:
The manager washed his hands of the whole situation and told us to solve the problem ourselves.
مدیر به طور کلی دست از ماجرا کشید و بهمون گفت که مشکل رو خودمون حل کنیم

❤️ get out of hand
خارج از کنترل شدن
مثال:
My friend's drinking problem got out of hand, and eventually he became an alcoholic.
مشکل نوشیدن رفیقم از کنترل خارج شد و در نهایت یک الکلی شد.

❤️ hands are tied
دست و بالم بسته است/ کاری نیمتونم بکنم
مثال:
I’m sorry, there’s nothing I can do. My hands are tied.
متاسفم، کاری نمیتونم بکنم، دست و بالم بسته ست.

❤️ know like the back of your hand
مثل کف دست شناختن
مثال:
Alex lived in New York for 20 years – he knows the city like the back of her hand.

دست دوم: غیر مستقیم
مثال:
