Passing Marks generally depends on the course you are taking in some courses, passing marks are 35 out of 100, and in some courses, 40 out of 100.
Note - There is no increase in passing marks, Google results every time not from official IGNOU site itself, it also shows results published by someone on their own site, so be careful do not trust to any random site or person, If you want to take or give any information, then visit the official site of IGNOU.

जो विद्यार्थी IGNOU में नए हैं, उनके लिए कुछ जरूरी जानकारी:
1. स्टडी मटेरियल: दाखिले के बाद, IGNOU आपको ऑनलाइन स्टडी मटेरियल प्रदान करता है जिसे आप eGyankosh वेबसाइट से डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं। अगर प्रिंटेड मटेरियल चाहिए, तो आपके एड्रेस पर भेजा जाएगा (कभी-कभी इसमें समय लग सकता है)।
2. सत्र प्रारंभ तिथि: प्रत्येक सेमेस्टर का सत्र कब शुरू होगा और परीक्षा की संभावित तिथियां, IGNOU की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर समय-समय पर अपडेट होती हैं। वेबसाइट: ignou.ac.in
3. असाइनमेंट: प्रत्येक विषय के असाइनमेंट्स दिए जाते हैं जिन्हें जमा करना अनिवार्य होता है। आप इन्हें IGNOU की वेबसाइट से डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं और सबमिट करने की अंतिम तिथि का ध्यान रखें।
4. परीक्षा फॉर्म: सेमेस्टर समाप्त होने से पहले परीक्षा फॉर्म भरना होगा। इसके लिए फीस भी जमा करनी होती है। आखिरी तिथि का ध्यान रखना महत्वपूर्ण है।
5. रीजनल सेंटर सपोर्ट: अगर किसी भी तरह की सहायता चाहिए, तो आप अपने रीजनल सेंटर से संपर्क कर सकते हैं। रीजनल सेंटर से आपकी स्टडी सेंटर की जानकारी और अन्य जानकारी प्राप्त की जा सकती है।
