Part 1 : Kubernetes Interview Questions & Answers 🎯

In this part, I have covered first 5 questions! Remaining will be shared soon!

1. What is Kubernetes, and why is it important for container orchestration?
Answer: Kubernetes is an open-source platform that automates how we deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications. Containers make our software portable and easier to manage. Kubernetes is important because it handles the complexities of:

Resource Distribution: Assigning computing power and memory where it's needed.

Self-Healing: Restarting failed containers and replacing unhealthy ones.

Scaling: Easily increasing or decreasing the number of application instances based on demand.

Part 2- Kubernetes Interview Q & A (Q6-Q10)

In this part, I have covered 5 more questions with detailed use-case & examples to give more insight! To make learning experience better in less time.

Covered Questions:
6. What are labels and selectors in Kubernetes?
7. How do you create a deployment in Kubernetes?
8. What is a Kubernetes namespace, and why would you use it?
9. How does Kubernetes manage secrets and configuration data?
10. What is the difference between a StatefulSet and a Deployment in Kubernetes?

Answers: 👇
Question 6: What are labels and selectors in Kubernetes?

Labels are key-value pairs attached to Kubernetes objects (like pods, services, nodes) to provide metadata and organization.

Selectors are expressions used to filter Kubernetes objects based on their labels. Selectors enable flexible matching and querying of objects for management tasks.

Confused with Monitoring and Logging in DevOps? 🤔

Take it as “Your fitness tracker”

Think of the data your fitness tracker or smartwatch collects—steps, heart rate, etc.

•Monitoring: These are the real-time stats for your body, just like system monitoring gives you live metrics on your servers (are they up? How much memory is being used?)

•Logging: This is the history of those stats, helping you analyze patterns. The same goes for log files on your servers—they record events, errors, and everything happening—which is super helpful in figuring out the "why" behind any issue.

Hope now no confusion?
