Hey,
It's with a heavy heart, I have to say that I am unfortunately resigning from my post as the PR Lead and Moderator from Lawnchair. It's not a decision I have made lightly or in haste.
Working full-time necessitates me spending less time towards the project and after the ongoing drama, it's just left a bad taste for me and I no longer have the mental strength to continue.
The past ~4 years as a team member were a blast. I'll cherish my memories as part of the team, and I have learnt a lot from everyone involved with the project. Lawnchair, for me, was not just another custom launcher, but felt like home.
To the team: wishing you all the very best with the future of Lawnchair, I'm excited and can't wait to see how the launcher evolves in the near future.
PSA: This does NOT, in any way, mean that the project is deprecated. Development will continue and so will the builds y'all love. Please don't make any assumptions. :)
Thanks for everything,
Abhijeet

Lawnchair 12.1.0 Alpha 3 is now available. We released version 12.1.0 Alpha 2 earlier today, but we unpublished it shortly after due to a critical bug that affected it.
Compared to version 12.1.0 Alpha 1, Lawnchair 12.1.0 Alpha 3 introduces backup functionality and resolves an issue where, on devices with Spanish set as the system display language, Lawnchair would crash on being opened.

I'll leave you with this tweet for now until I write a full statement on the future of Lawnchair, have a nice weekend!

@BearWitness8 @lawnchairapp @ArtemR We have never claimed copyright for these features, we have always said that they are taken from the Pixel Launcher and we have never hidden this fact from our community.

Nothing has changed with this apk, we just accidentally deleted the old one.
Lawnicons-1.1.0.apk

Lawnicons 1.1.0 has arrived! This release includes 626 icons (218 linked icons and 408 made from scratch icons) and works with Lawnchair 12 Alpha 5 and Lawnchair 12.1+. Thanks to all our contributors!
Lawnicons 1.2.0 is now available! This release includes an additional 270 icon files from the 431 icon files we had available, bringing the total to 713 icons. If we include the linked icons, this brings the total to *1003 icons*! (Further information on how the above was calculated can be found on GitHub)
Alongside that, we'll now try to release a new version of Lawnicons every 30 days, so expect that the next update will be available in the next month. (*we don't guarantee anything though*)
A few minor technical changes:
* In pre-Android 12 devices, we have changed the default theme to be in a green hue.
* The top app bar has been changed to be an expanding top app bar, to ease usability.
Thanks to @FPMilan, @daywalk3r666, @lorrding, @ZhmieXD, @ThatOneCalculator, @KZacharski, @dercodeling, and @thismoon for your contributions to Lawnicons! Also thanks to our new contributors: @ASTRELION, @Zack-Bloodshot, @naveenccmsd, @mluizvitor, @leifniem, @mwchiao, @Nido-nid, @peterge1998, @sethgillett, @SadLinusGuy0, @MrHCJ, @benteg and @arch10.
