It is important to remember, as we head into the storm, that nothing lasts forever, this too will pass. We must simply weather the chaos, resist the attacks and remain true to ourselves, to our faith and to everything that makes us human; love, creativity, ingenuity, resilience, laughter, kindness... They cannot destroy what God created so be the best expression of that creation.

What if…

This morning I woke up with a massive ‘what if’ in my mind. For months it’s been coming up and for months I’ve tried to ignore it. Painful ‘what ifs’ are hard to digest, if not impossible…

The more you are capable of extracting yourself from the matrix, the greater perspective you gain, which undoubtly makes you see things differently and more importantly, more clearly.

Truth, as we have come to learn, is an incredibly elusive thing. Just as soon as you think you are getting closer to it, you realise you have only scratched the surface.

Most of us that have been on this journey for a while, know that truth can be unimaginably ugly and painful, and so we immediately want to believe there is a solution, an answer, a rescue plan, a hero…

But what if the hero and the villain are the two faces of the same coin? What if the coin leads to the same result? What if some are following one side of the coin and others are following the other side, without realising that it is in fact the same coin? And it’s heading in the same direction?

What if this binary construct is exactly what keeps us in the matrix? Good/evil, light/dark, us/them…

What if it’s all an ilusion? What if it’s the perfect way to make all sides end up in the same place? One side out of indoctrination, the other side out of rebellion, each side following their chosen side of the same coin. Both fooled, both manipulated, both trapped in this binary matrix?

I know this is not what you want to hear, me neither, but this ‘what if’ has been growing in my mind over the last year and it’s not leaving me… in fact it keeps getting louder.

It’s such a wonderful thought to think we will be rescued, nobody really wants to hear that we have to save ourselves, but if you think about it, the reason we ended up where we are, is because we failed to take proper self-responsibility, so maybe now is the time, maybe this is what this lesson is all about.

I think we need to step back and open our minds to the possibility that what is being sold to us as the ‘light’, may just be the other side of the dark coin. And then again, I could be massively wrong…

What I do know, is that I trust no one, that I follow no one, that I believe nothing and that the only truth I know to be real is within me and between me and the Creator.

Yes, there are a lot of ‘what ifs’ in my mind, forgive me for sharing them, but there is also an immutable, unwavering, unyielding faith that we will find the way, not following, but creating the path with our own instinct, intuition and love.

I believe this is the answer. I believe this is the lesson. I believe in you, in me, in God. Do we need any more?
