Items to Carry to the Examination Centre:

• IGNOU ID Card (Printed Hardcopy) or any Government ID (Aadhar, PAN Card, etc.) if the IGNOU ID is not available.

• Hall Ticket/Admit Card (Printed Hardcopy) "Students can give exam without Hall Ticket as their names are on the examinees' list/attendance sheets of their exam centre."

• Calculators are allowed if permitted in the question paper instructions.

• Pen, pencil, & other stationery.

• Mobile Phone & bags/handbags are allowed at the exam center/campus but NOT inside the exam hall/room; candidates must store them outside at their own risk.

Items NOT ALLOWED inside the Examination hall/room:

❌ Correction pen/white fluid, or any suspicious material is not allowed.
❌ Bluetooth/wireless devices, watches (including digital/smart ones).
❌ Bags, papers, notes, books.

I trust this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a predicament I am facing regarding the upcoming examinations at IGNOU.

I am a dedicated student enrolled with IGNOU under Enrolment Number ........... pursuing the Program Code............... Unfortunately, my two papers, coded as ........... and ..........., are scheduled on the same day and at the same time. Both these papers pertain to the same academic year (2nd/3rd Year). This scheduling conflict is causing me significant distress as it poses the risk of losing six valuable months of academic progress.

I kindly request your intervention to address this matter promptly and facilitate a resolution that would allow me to sit for all my scheduled papers in this session without the unnecessary setback of six months. Your assistance in this regard would be immensely appreciated.

Please carefully review and adhere to these official Guidelines for the TEE December 2023 to ensure a smooth and fair examination process.

Revised Exam Guidelines for June 2024 TEE

1. Supplementary Sheets:
Extra sheets will not be given; write on each line.

2. Attendance Sheet:
Sign properly; incorrect signature is treated as absent.

3. Enrollment No. input:
If the number is of 9 digits, mark 'X' in the last bracket. Do not add zero.

4. Answer Sheet Submission:
Check signatures and stamps before submission.

5. Time Limit for Entry:
Entry closes 15 mins after question paper distribution.

6. Prohibited Items:
Strictly no phones, electronic devices, bags, or notes in the exam hall.

7. Calculators:
Allowed unless prohibited in the question paper.

8. Medium of Examination:
Write answers in the offered language in Question Paper.

9. Language Restrictions:
Answers not in the offered language won't be evaluated.

10. Duration of Exams:
Exam duration mentioned on the question paper.

11. Objective Type Questions:
Some courses have objective-type questions on OMR sheets.

12. Exam Center and ID:
IGNOU ID required; any valid govt. ID is acceptable.

13. Leaving Exam Hall:
No leaving before one hour of the exam.

14. Hall Ticket Validity:
Specific conditions for validity.

15. Taking Answer Sheets:
Prohibited; may lead to police involvement.

16. Impersonation:
Will be reported to the police.

17. Exam Center Allotment:
University may shift based on need.
