👍 This creative task is suitable for the last lessons of the year or the first ones after the vacations with students of various ages and levels. All they need to do is to complete the sentences by adding their own ideas.
How to use:
🗣 Pair Discussion
Divide the students into pairs and have them discuss their plans for the upcoming year using questions like "Do you want to...?" or "Would you like to...?".
✍️ "Find someone who wants to..."
A mingling activity that not only enhances communicative skills but is also a great way for students to get to know each other better and exchange ideas.
🤝 Collective Planning
Students can create a shared plan or a list of goals for the class/group, that will foster unity and teach them to work together.
✅ During the year, you can go back to the New Year's Goals from time to time, celebrate your students' achievements, and work out or revise the Present Perfect tense (e.g., "I have already gone to..."/"I haven't tried/finished it yet, etc.").

A simple funny game for revising and spelling the recently learnt vocabulary or new words, as well as a great way to bring students to the topic of the lesson by guessing a keyword or short phrase.
There's a whole bowl of candy at stake!
Students play in pairs or mini groups. Cut out the candies and put any number in an empty bowl (they are potential mistakes) depending on the complexity of the keyword.
The leader thinks of the word, and the others try to guess it by naming one letter in turn. If there is such a letter, then the leader writes it in the appropriate place, if not, then one candy is taken out of the bowl. If there are no more candies in the bowl, the leader wins.
The file contains 3 variants of bowls and candies to cut out. You may also circle the candies with a marker on a laminated sheet and erase them in case of errors, or simply cross out one candy piece at a time.

Let's starting the new year from scratch, or rather anew calendar. And not just a calendar, but a calendar where every day is a holiday!
In addition to the fact that this is a cool unusual decoration for your classroom, it can be used to arouse curiosity and make even the most silent students talk, devoting a few minutes at the beginning or at the end of the lesson to discussing the holiday, what it is dedicated to, how it is celebrated, what costumes and treats could be, etc.
The calendar for January is attached👇, for the rest of the month: Vk or TPT.
