Writing is not an easy skill! You can't do it without effort, patience, great imagination and good vocabulary.

It's difficult to begin writing serious texts right away, but your students can start from simple stories about various characters and funny ridiculous situations in which they found themselves with randomly selected cards.

Moreover, the more details, the more interesting, but one sentence in each part will be enough to get started.
Funny stories are welcome!
What to do: students blindly choose a character, an action, and a scene, then link them together in a short story and write it down on a worksheet, not forgetting to divide them into Introduction, Body, and Conclusion.

Remind the learners to use the linking words such as (first, at the beginning, then, next, after that, finally, at the end etc).

Refresh the forms of two basic verbs: to be and have. Spiders catch only those flies that suit them.

After that let the students come up with short sentences to consolidate their knowledge.

Traditionally, the file includes an empty blank for creating your own worksheets, and you can also give children the task to make them for each other.

🗣 Catch a veeeeeery funny speaking activity that will help to engage even the most silent students. Great for pre-intermediate level and higher. Teenagers love it, but it is also suitable for adults with a good sense of humor.

Students work in pairs or mini groups (3-4 people). One chooses a card and reads it to the other. The partner should explain why they were caught in such an awkward situation.

🤣 28 ridiculous and completely absurd situations will make students laugh, and they'll have to do their best to come up with the crazy ideas to explain themselves. You may also ask students to choose a card, create and write a crazy story.

Roll and Say speaking games.

All you need is a few dice (so that by dividing the children into pairs or mini-groups, everyone has something to play with) and any board suitable for the topic (food, animals, appearance, actions, professions, and mixed).

The players take turns throwing 2 dice, finding the appropriate square on the board, and practicing key grammar and vocabulary.

For example:
- He has got short black hair. He is wearing sunglasses. He has got a blue jacket.
- It is a zebra. It is black and white. It can run fast.
- He is a farmer He works on a farm. He has got a rake.
- It is bread. I can cook a sandwich. I like to eat it with soup.
- He is doing his homework. He is not lazy. He is wearing glasses.

If you don't want the squares (and the ideas as well) to be repeated, the students can cover them with any chips or buttons.
