π·"Moneybox" is a versatile activity for young learners.
They fill pots/purses/bags/chests/piggy banks with gold, completing simple tasks and revising the material in a fun way.
π° You may write on the coins:
- uppercase (or lowercase) letters, the kids take one coin at a time and call or write the corresponding lowercase ones;
- any letters, the players take turns to take a coin and come up with the words that begin with these letters, the letters can be repeated, but the answers can't;
- a letter and a number (for example: A4, B3, C6), kids write the letter the appropriate number of times;
- cvc words or sight words (2-5 letters), the task is to read the word. To complicate the task the letters can be mixed (e.g.: Π°tc, hte, ipg etc), the students decode the words, call them, and then write;
- simple problems (e.g.: 5-2, 3+1, 8-6 etc.). To win a coin, the players need to give the correct answer, write the number or the word (e.g.: 2 or two).

The game is very similar to the classic version of UNO. But in this form, it is a great tool for practising and consolidating Animals & Insects vocabulary as well as various related patterns, grammar structures and three types of sentences (+-?). To make a move players must name the word or make up a sentence with it, for example: (+) It is a sheep./ (-) It is not a parrot. / (?) Is it an elephant? etc. You may also use structures with have got / can / there is / there are (I have got a cat. / The fish can't fly. / Is there a fox in the Zoo?).
The game is ideal for learning the key vocabulary and it is also a very useful time-filler or encouragement for good work in the lesson. It's also a great entertainment for summer camps and speaking clubs. Suitable for individual and group lessons with primary school students, as well as with teenagers and even adults (A1-A2 levels).

π£ Speaking activity - Answer the question as if you were..., which your students will definitely enjoy!
The set includes cards with characters and various questions.
βοΈ The aim of the task is very simple - the characters are mixed and distributed to students, the leader reads the question, and the players answer it as if they were the characters they got. Fun, creative and effective (especially for shy students or those who simply don't like sharing personal information)!
And if the players don't identify themselves during the answer, then the rest of the group can guess who would give such an answer.
Cards with personalities can be changed every time or the students answer several questions in a row.
