Let's prepare for autumn fun and refresh the words associated with Halloween!

Give your students 3-5 minutes to fill out the tables, then divide them into pairs or mini groups and invite to share with each other why they associate these particular words with this very holiday.

e.g. A - apple! Every Halloween party we play apple bobbing game!

❗️P.S. it is not necessary to come up with associations for each letter, but the more, the better.

The airports are always crowded and noisy, everyone is in a hurry and busy with something. Let's take a look at one of them and its passengers, and practice answering Special Questions.

The rules are easy:

Divide the players into mini groups of 3-4 people, give each group a board. Students take turns rolling a die, moving their counters across the board, reading questions, looking for answers in the picture and giving complete answers (e.g., Who is Ben waiting for? - Ben is waiting for Mr. Smith.).

The students can play according to the classic rules - whoever gets to the finish line first, wins the game, or they can play any number of times, answering more and more questions each round.

Invite students to ask each other their own questions after completing the first round, and after the correct answers, roll the dice and step forward. The students can also practice Present Continuous and repeat a variety of vocabulary.

πŸ—£ Describe the photo is one of the parts of any exam, and your students will definitely need adjectives for beautiful detailed answers so this task is perfect for brushing up and activating vocabulary.

In addition to adjectives, the students can fill in the verbs to indicate actions that can be performed by this object or with it, to describe the characteristics of the noun, as well as write their associations with it: some keywords or phrases that will help to talk about this item in the future, or even create their own cards for the taboo game. The students can work in pairs, groups or individually.
