π All children love superheroes and they are often experts in everything connected with them. They know about their equipment, weapons, strengths and weaknesses. There is a couple of ideas how to use it in the classroom:
π€ describe the superhero. Everyone chooses a superhero, comes up with his name and logo and describes all that he knows about him (how the superhero looks like, what he is wearing, what he is good at and what he canβt do quite well etc.). Kids can describe their heroes from the first or third person singular, work out the patterns with can, have/has, to be etc. Good for beginners.
π€ More variants are in the file π.
πͺ P.S. You can paste as many pages in the book as the young superheroes need.

Tick them all!
π² π Roll and Read: Tongue Twister Battle to practice tricky English sounds.
Students work in pairs or mini-groups, each has a list of tongue twisters (you can laminate them for longer use), they take turns rolling the dice and must read the necessary tongue twister without mistakes and long pauses. Partners control each other, thus practicing listening skills.
π If the player reads the sentence correctly, they tick this tongue twister on their sheetβ , if not, the square remains empty and next time they read it again. The player, who marks all 6 tongue twsiters first, wins.
If the players roll the same numbers, they can repeat the phrases to sharpen their pronunciation, or roll the dice once again (it depends on the time you have in the lesson).

Who said that? It would seem simple, but these cards are quite usefulβοΈ
How to use:
- Students are to express their opinion about the authors (who could it be, where it could be said, in what situation and briefly describe it). Several ideas are allowed, but the students have to justify their choice. Moreover, it's a cool way to refresh phrases for argumentation.
- Students have to transform the phrases into reported speech. That's certainly not an easy task!
- And of course, it's a great way to develop speaking skills - let the students answer the questions or react somehow to what is said with phrases of their own or come up with mini dialogues.
