Students roll a die, take a card (it is better to print several pages) and name a plural noun with this ending. And if you remove the “-ves” cards, then you can drill the verbs in Present Simple ☝️😉
If the answer is correct, the player moves their token forward according to the number on the die, if it’s wrong, the player remains on the spot.

One Day Trip
If we are going on a day trip, what should I take first?
Maybe a hat? Just in case it snows? Or a flashlight? If we get stuck somewhere in the darkness. And it's better to have a soccer ball, so that it won't be boring 🤔
Ask your students to take 4 things for the short trip and be sure to prove their choice.
How to use:
- students write: I take a power bank, because I need to charge my phone. Then, in pairs or mini-groups, they tell each other exactly what they have chosen and why.
- or: I take this item, because I want to protect my skin. Then they read it aloud, and the others try to guess what exactly Dima or Lena will take with them on the trip.

The game is very similar to the classic version of UNO. But in this form, it is a great tool for practising and consolidating Summer vocabulary as well as various related patterns, grammar structures and three types of sentences (+-?). To make a move players must name the word or make up a sentence with it (+-?), for example: (+) I put on sun cream before going to the beach. (-) Katie doesn't like planes, she is afraid of flying. (?) Have you got a diving mask and a snorkel?

🎒 Summer is time to travel, it means that it’s time to pack your backpacks and suitcases. You need to choose what to take with you, because the space in your luggage is limited. But making a choice is not an easy matter and the climate differs in different parts of the world. A great summer activity will diversify your classes. Just print and do!

😈 All children love superheroes and they are often experts in everything connected with them. They know about their equipment, weapons, strengths and weaknesses. There is a couple of ideas how to use it in the classroom:
🤜 describe the superhero. Everyone chooses a superhero, comes up with his name and logo and describes all that he knows about him (how the superhero looks like, what he is wearing, what he is good at and what he can’t do quite well etc.). Kids can describe their heroes from the first or third person singular, work out the patterns with can, have/has, to be etc. Good for beginners.
