πŸ“œ Great for:
- mingling activities: students interview several partners according to their card, and then report to the class. They are free to come up with absolutely any questions (tricky, funny, personal about family, friends etc), but they have to be started with the words in the cards and be grammatically correct;
- fast finishers: make up questions and ask each other or answer them themselves while all th rest finish the main tasks.

The game is very similar to the classic version of UNO.

But in this form, it is a great tool for practising and consolidating irregular verbs, as well as the structures of three types of sentences (+-?) in Past Simple or Present Perfect tenses. To make a move players must name the 2nd or the 3rd form of the verb (or both) or make up a simple sentence with it (+-?) in an appropriate tense, for example: read/swim/drink or (+) I ate an apple for breakfast yesterday. / (-) She didn't swim in the river last summer. / (?) Did they drink orange juice 2 days ago? etc.

The game is ideal for learning verbs and drilling a certain tense while studying it, and it is also a very useful time-filler or encouragement for good work in the lesson.

🏒 Once upon a time in the small provincial town "E", an entire district of 26 skyscrapers was built.

The houses were unique because of their unusual Silent "E"-levators. The residents of new houses, getting to the right floors, had to read a whole bunch of words.

Of course, they went to visit each other and soon the whole town "E" learned to read 234 Silent E words, because in addition to β€œE”-levators there were such amusements as dominoes, puzzles, board games and other fun stuff.

Your students can also visit the amazing town and go up and down in Silent β€œE”-levators: VK or TPT
