Ufff, finally the last winter month of the year is finishing, and this is a great reason to review the previous two and all the next months to enjoy the approach of spring, warmth and sun.
After the students write the months in the correct order, divide them into pairs and ask them to tell each other:
- when is someone's birthday, what holidays do we celebrate in a year (revise the prepositions of time and dates);
- which months is their favourite and why;
- what they can or like to do in an appropriate month of the year (refresh can/can't; hobbies and sports);
- what weather is like in each of the periods.
Invite them to play a guessing game.
Option 1.
One player describes the month (the questions above can serve as hints), the other guesses, then they skip roles.
Option 2.
Repeat the ordinal numbers. One player says: the fourth month after January or the second month before August, the other should remember without looking at the worksheet. Then they skip roles.

The game is very similar to the classic version of UNO.
But in this form, it is a great tool for practising and consolidating irregular verbs, as well as the structures of three types of sentences (+-?) in Past Simple or Present Perfect tenses. To make a move players must name the 2nd or the 3rd form of the verb (or both) or make up a simple sentence with it (+-?) in an appropriate tense, for example: read/swim/drink or (+) I ate an apple for breakfast yesterday. / (-) She didn't swim in the river last summer. / (?) Did they drink orange juice 2 days ago? etc.
The game is ideal for learning verbs and drilling a certain tense while studying it, and it is also a very useful time-filler or encouragement for good work in the lesson.

π’ Once upon a time in the small provincial town "E", an entire district of 26 skyscrapers was built.
The houses were unique because of their unusual Silent "E"-levators. The residents of new houses, getting to the right floors, had to read a whole bunch of words.
Of course, they went to visit each other and soon the whole town "E" learned to read 234 Silent E words, because in addition to βEβ-levators there were such amusements as dominoes, puzzles, board games and other fun stuff.
Your students can also visit the amazing town and go up and down in Silent βEβ-levators: VK or TPT
