πŸ”₯ FREE Warm-up TIC-TAC-TOE & Bingo Game

🀸 A cool and very easy way to change the activity and get your students moving a little bit during the lesson in primary school is:

πŸ’ͺ to play active TIC TAC TOE. Divide the children into pairs or mini groups and give each one a board. To place their sign (o or x) on the grid, the player has to perform the action indicated in the corresponding square, and then another player makes a move;

πŸ’ͺ to play active Bingo. It is played like classic bingo, and after crossing out the corresponding square on the board, the children perform the action all together. The first to cross out three squares in a row shouts BINGO! If the group is large, you can use one board per team.

These games will only take a couple of minutes but will cheer up the children!

πŸ”₯ NEW GAME!
πŸŽƒ Uno Halloween

The game is very similar to the classic version of UNO. But in this form, it is a great tool for practicing and consolidating Halloween vocabulary as well as various related patterns, grammar structures and three types of sentences (+-?).

To make a move players must name the word or make up a sentence with it (+-?), for example: (+) This is a ghost. / (-) The black cat can't fly. / (?) Is there a broom in a spooky house? etc.

Read a list of words and detailed rules in the preview file.

πŸ”₯ FREE TIME ROLL&SAY GAME 3in1
🎲 It's an engaging, effective and very useful game to practice "Telling the Time", refresh "Adverbs of Frecuency" with "Daily Routines".

How to play. Players take turns rolling two dice (or one die twice), find the corresponding square on the board, and:

➑️ Answer the question "What's the time?" (e.g., It's half past three).

➑️ Practice adverbs of frequency by telling what they always/usually/often/someimes/never do during that time (I usually cook lunch at 12 o'clock. / I often have a bath at 8:45 in the evening. / I never do my homework at 6:15 in the morning, etc.).

➑️ Ask general questions and practice short or full answers (Do you walk the dog at 9:00 in the morning? No, I don't. I usually go to school at 9:00 o'clock.).

πŸŽƒ FREE HALLOWEEN DECORATION

πŸ–Œ A huge Halloween Colouring Poster will serve as an outstanding decoration for the classroom during the holiday and also become an excellent speaking activity, reinforcing vocabulary related to body parts, colours and sizes.

Additionally, you can ask your students to use grammar structures involving verbs 'to be' and 'to have.' In this activity, one person describes a hidden monster on the poster, while the others try to guess which one it is.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Moreover, each person can take one page and colour it at home, and then, during Halloween, they will combine them into one explosively wonderful and beautiful poster.πŸ’₯

πŸŽƒ The most disgusting witch's recipe!

Help the witch amaze her guests with a festive dinner:

- Prepare the most disgusting potion: provide children with empty cauldrons and distribute recipes with ingredients all mixed up on the table/floor. The player or team that quickly and accurately brews the worst "treat" wins.

- Witch's Dinner Matches: give each child a cauldron with a cooked potion and place the recipes around the classroom, on the board or on the wall. They read the recipes, check their cauldrons, and find the correct match.

πŸ“œ The file includes blank templates for festive creativity (cauldrons, recipe sheets, and tokens for children to come up with their own extremely rare ingredients).

◾️ Reading Checkers is a fantastic game for those who are learning to read!

The file is editable, so you can type in letters, syllables, phonics, CVC words or silent E words. If children have trouble remembering numbers, you can also include them.

Great for fast finishers as well as a useful way to productively spend a couple of minutes at the end of a lesson.

πŸ“œ How to play:
- Just like regular checkers. To make a move a player must correctly read the word in the square they are moving to. If they make a mistake, the turn passes to the other player. In this case, the children will be exceptionally attentive to each other!

- πŸ₯ˆ In larger groups, you can prepare several boards with different content. Divide the children into pairs and organize a checkers championship (In smaller groups, you can play one pair against another or have one strong student play against two weaker ones πŸ’ͺ).

πŸ”₯ FREE RESOURCE

πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ There's a tricky mistake in every sentence. Students need to read carefully, find it, and correct it. It might be a grammar or vocabulary error.

You can cut the paper into cards or use the whole pages as worksheets.

✍️ The task is excellent for fast finishers and, moreover, it will help to use the remaining few minutes at the end of the lesson productively.

Finding these mistakes is not just a review of what they've learned but also teaches them to notice and correct their own little typos in the future.
