🤸 A cool and very easy way to change the activity and get your students moving a little bit during the lesson in primary school is:

💪 to play active TIC TAC TOE. Divide the children into pairs or mini groups and give each one a board. To place their sign (o or x) on the grid, the player has to perform the action indicated in the corresponding square, and then another player makes a move;

💪 to play active Bingo. It is played like classic bingo, and after crossing out the corresponding square on the board, the children perform the action all together. The first to cross out three squares in a row shouts BINGO! If the group is large, you can use one board per team.

These games will only take a couple of minutes but will cheer up the children!

🎃 The most disgusting witch's recipe!

Help the witch amaze her guests with a festive dinner:

- Prepare the most disgusting potion: provide children with empty cauldrons and distribute recipes with ingredients all mixed up on the table/floor. The player or team that quickly and accurately brews the worst "treat" wins.

- Witch's Dinner Matches: give each child a cauldron with a cooked potion and place the recipes around the classroom, on the board or on the wall. They read the recipes, check their cauldrons, and find the correct match.

◾️ Reading Checkers is a fantastic game for those who are learning to read!

The file is editable, so you can type in letters, syllables, phonics, CVC words or silent E words. If children have trouble remembering numbers, you can also include them.

Great for fast finishers as well as a useful way to productively spend a couple of minutes at the end of a lesson.

📜 How to play:
- Just like regular checkers. To make a move a player must correctly read the word in the square they are moving to. If they make a mistake, the turn passes to the other player. In this case, the children will be exceptionally attentive to each other!

- 🥈 In larger groups, you can prepare several boards with different content. Divide the children into pairs and organize a checkers championship (In smaller groups, you can play one pair against another or have one strong student play against two weaker ones 💪).
