Making up questions is a pain in the neck for students (they sometimes forget auxiliary verbs, don’t change the form of the verb or add unnecessary endings), mostly because those who often ask them are the teachers.

This game will help students to master this important skill by coming up with general and special questions (from the most elementary to complex) according to the given answers.

The game is presented in the form of a classic board game and card game that can be used both for drilling and warm up, as well as for revision, working out or consolidating of interrogative sentences.

A great activity to show students that the same word can have different meanings, depending on the context.

First, have students work on worksheets to choose the appropriate words, and then ask them to create sentences using the words in different contexts to help them understand the differences and remember them better.

This activity is suitable for lessons with young learners and various ABC parties in primary school, great to use both with groups and individual learners.

Tell the students that the school library has moved to a new room and all the books were mixed up. Now they need to help the librarian arrange the books in alphabetical order.

Divide students into pairs or mini-groups, give them bookshelves with several books inside, and mix up all the missing ones. Each team has their own bookcase, where they need to clean up, correctly placing the books on the shelves (sets of books can be all the same or different). Those who cope with it faster and better, get the title of the best librarians of the day/week/year etc.
