ABC's THINGS I LIKE is a cool way to get to know each other better both in summer camp and in a new group at the beginning of the academic year, as well as to brush up different vocabulary. It can be anything: tastes, preferences, interests and hobbies and, on the contrary, unloved, irritating or frightening objects, things, etc.

Work in pairs or small groups:

- Students fill in the templates and then tell each other about themselves in pairs, after that change partners and do the same. The goal is to remember at least a couple of facts about everyone who they will have time to talk;

- Students compare what they have in common and look for the most β€œrelative” soulmate;

- They interview their partners, fill in the blanks, and then tell the rest of the class anything about a new friend: - What do/don't you like? - I (don't) like ... .

It's not necessary to fill in all the gaps!

This is me activity wheel is an easy way to refresh previously studied vocabulary from different topics, as well as get to know each other better.

Write sample questions on the board:
What is your favourite...?
What do you like/love/hate ...?
Who is your best friend?
What do you want to be?

First the children fill out the information about themselves, then they get up and move freely around the classroom for 5-7 minutes, asking each other questions, trying to find at least 1-2 people with the same answers as they have.
After that, you can divide them into pairs or mini groups so that they can get to know each other better and talk about their new friends with similar interests (working out 3rd person singular).
