Make Conditional Clauses FUN with These High-Energy Speaking Activities!

🎭 First Conditional: Drama Queen (Chain Story Consequences)

- How it works:
  - Start a crazy story: "If Maria eats the last cookie..."
  - Students take turns adding consequences: "...her brother will cry. If he cries, their mom will call the police. If the police come..."

🦸 Second Conditional: Superpower Debates

  - Assign silly superpowers ("If I could turn into a potato...").
  - Students argue: "If I could teleport, I’d steal all the pizza!"→ "But if I could freeze time, I’d stop you!"
  - Vote for the most creative (or ridiculous) power.

⏳ Third Conditional: Time Travel Interviews

  - One student is a "time traveler" who messed up history ("If I hadn’t invented TikTok, would cats still rule the internet?").
  - Classmates ask "What would have happened if...?" questions and guess the "disaster."
- Props: Use a toy microphone or silly hats for characters.

Your students will hopefully speak without realizing they’re practicing grammar, and the sillier the activity, the more they remember!

An easy speaking activity to have the students talking in no time!

How?
Give everyone a copy of this and ask them to circle their answers. Then, ask them to go around the class and fins somebody with whom they have the most in common!

You can thank me later! 😉

درسته که تدریس مستقیم گرامر واسه بعضی شرایط لازمه، اما روش غیر مستقیم که از مثال به ساختار می رسه معمولاً بهتر جواب میده😉

You only need a dice and this activity to get your students talking for at least half an hour!
