Students from Yemen, Iraq and Egypt are LUKOIL trainees

Abdo Tavfik Abdullah Ahmed from Iraq studies at Perm Polytech University. Being a promising student, he works in LUKOIL-PERM.

A Synergistic Approach

Egyptian facilities started using electric centrifugal pumps assembled at LUKOIL’s plant in the city of Kogalym (West Siberia).

The equipment is made of wear resistant components and fit for installation in any climate, at temperatures ranging from 40 °С below zero to 40 °С above zero.

The use of these electric centrifugal pumps allows to decrease power consumption by 20% and control the unit via the remote monitoring system.

*LUKOIL has been operating in Egypt since 1995. The Company takes part in three production projects there: Meleiha, WEEM and WEEM Extension.
A Grand Victory for a Great Talent

We congratulate Alexander Chazov on his achievement and wish him further creative success!
Readiness Test

Two LUKOIL Group organizations – one in the Volgograd region of Russia and one in Uzbekistan – held accident handling drills.

Emergency response teams of the two facilities polished their methods of oil products spill response, including spill response at the water surface of the Volga River (Russia) and Pachkamarskoye reservoir (Uzbekistan). The teams also exercised real-time cooperation with local EMERCOM units.

Representatives of the regional emergency services and inspectors of the supervisory bodies commended the well-coordinated work of the industrial safety teams of the facilities.
