Starting from today, Leonid Fedun, who held a post of Vice President for Strategic Development of PJSC LUKOIL, has left his position due to achievement of retirement age, as well as familial reasons.

A Piano Solo
 
Thanks to LUKOIL’s support, the IX international Piano Loop Festival took place in Split, Croatia.

 
The Festival included concerts played by world-class pianists and young performers, such as Mikhail Pletnev, Dmitry Shishkin, Alim Beisembayev, Ivan Krpan and Lukas Vondracek.
 
LUKOIL supports important culture projects in its regions of operation and helps to promote careers of the new generation of talented musicians.

Palm Biodiesel

LUKOIL's Italian refinery began production of biodiesel with addition of palm oil materials.

This renewable element of the fuel reduces carbon footprint of the end product and allows for efficient use of byproducts of oil manufacturing. The resulting biofuel fully meets the high quality standards of LUKOIL.

We deeply regret to announce that Ravil Maganov, Chairman of PJSC LUKOIL Board of Directors, passed away following a severe illness.

LUKOIL’s many thousands of employees mourn deeply for this grievous loss and express their sincere condolences to Ravil Maganov’s family.
Ravil Maganov immensely contributed to the development of not only the Company, but of the entire Russian oil and gas sector.

He started work as an oil operator, and only a few years later took command of Langepasneftegaz production association – one of the three enterprises that laid the foundation for the story of LUKOIL. For many years, Ravil Maganov led LUKOIL’s upstream block as a First Executive Vice President. In 2020, he was named Chairman of PJSC LUKOIL Board of Directors.

Thanks to Ravil Maganov’s managerial talent, LUKOIL evolved from a small oil production group to one of the world’s leading energy companies in next to no time.

For his successes in the development of Russian fuel and energy sector, Ravil Maganov received many national awards.

LUKOIL started to perform wind monitoring, which is the first stage of developing feasibility study for constructing a wind power plant at the Caspian Sea coast near Artesian settlement, Republic of Kalmykia (the Artesian WPP).

LUKOIL adopts Human Rights Policy

The document systemizes relevant regulations that were previously developed by the Company, while taking into account other regulatory requirements and initiatives, including international ones.


A separate chapter of the policy focuses on observance of economic, social and cultural rights, including rights of indigenous peoples and local communities in the regions and countries of LUKOIL Group operations in compliance with international law.

In the introduction of the policy, LUKOIL encourages its suppliers and contractors, as well as other stakeholders, to respect the internationally acknowledged human rights.

LUKOIL delegation participates in the business programme of ADIPEC conference in the UAE.


The Company’s representatives talked about issues related to energy security and climate goals at the forum’s venues, including the traditional roundtable discussion for the executives of national and global energy companies organized by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). LUKOIL also presented its technologies and achievements at the exhibition.

This year, over 12 thousand delegates from all around the world take part in this largest Middle East energy conference.

Special Help

Thanks to LUKOIL’s support, three pre-school facilities opened in Uzbekistan. Two of them feature Imkon rehabilitation centres for kids with special needs.


Every year, about 2.5 thousand children will be able to receive high-quality education and special treatment, as well as participate in social adaptation programmes.
