Seen something colourful in your hood while out and about lately? 👀 🖼You might have come across one of the 21 Pedestrian Overhead Bridges (#POB) that we are sprucing up across Singapore.

We’ve been working with the local communities to see how we can use land transport infrastructure for placemaking. These efforts aim to add vibrancy and a unique identity to our neighbourhoods. 🚶🤩

🖐️ Hold up, do you know your parking rules? Here’s a handy reminder. Remember to avoid parking at such locations and always be considerate and responsible! 🚗
Earlier this week, we carried out a parking enforcement operation at several locations in the west of Singapore. Our officers were on the lookout for illegally parked vehicles including trucks, buses, and trailers 🚜🚌🚛.

The enforcement operation in Tuas, Boon Lay, and Pioneer found 265 illegal parking offences😞. Some were parked illegally on double yellow lines, near fire hydrants, or near to road junctions posing safety hazards. Seven vehicles were towed away and impounded.

Reminder:
* Vehicles must be parked at designated parking lots to ensure they do not cause obstruction, inconvenience, or endanger other road users.
* Heavy vehicles must have a valid Vehicle Parking Certificate (VPC).📜
* Those who park their vehicles illegally may face penalties, demerit points, and even have their vehicles towed.
Look out for stunning new art that will be coming to Bencoolen and Botanic Gardens MRT stations in the upcoming months! 😍

#DidYouKnow These are the winning artworks designed by Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) students in a competition to enliven public transport spaces for our commuters. 🎨🖌

For fleet vehicle drivers 🚗 who have installed the OBU and those who were part of our pilot, you might have noticed a new button on your touchscreen display.

It is a feature which temporarily disables the CEPAS card payment function for complimentary parking.

With this button, there’s no need to remove your card from the OBU. Furthermore, this feature disables card payment for parking only and ERP charging will not be affected.

Under ERP 2.0, the current in-vehicle unit (IU) will be replaced with the on-board unit (OBU). Unlike the IU, which is only activated when passing through an ERP gantry, the processing unit is like a mini-computer which is processing information when the car engine is switched on. Hence, the processing unit generates more heat than the IU.

Watch on to find out more.

As we gear up for ERP 2.0, you might be curious about the new On-Board Unit and where it will be placed in your car.

Here are two installation locations which you can consider for easier access to the CEPAS card.

Do check in with your sales rep/ technician on your preference to make sure it is technically feasible.

We also encourage motorists to sign up for the NETS Auto Top-Up services to automatically reload the card, minimising the need to access your CEPAS card while driving.

As we transition towards ERP 2.0, we have been making improvements to address some questions or concerns from early adopters.

These include:
1) The position of the OBU,
2) Mininising the need to remove the CEPAS card from the processing unit.

Let us explain what we are doing.
