🚨 #Reminder All foreign-registered vehicles must have a valid Vehicle Entry Permit (#VEP) and Autopass card before arriving at our land checkpoints. 🚗🛵

Due to the surge in VEP applications during this period (more than 6 times our weekly average pre-COVID19!), the current processing time is expected to be around 7 weeks.

👉🏽 Please plan ahead for your trip and ensure that you have received LTA’s email approval before embarking on your journey to Singapore. 🙏🏼

Since applications opened on 31 Mar 2022, about 50,000 applicants have received their outcomes. The remaining applicants can expect to have their application results within 3 weeks, down from 7 weeks previously.

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨

We are aware that an SMS pertaining to ERP payments is being circulated. The SMS tells the recipient that his ERP payment has failed and he needs to download “the LTA application” to avoid a fine by clicking on a hyperlink in the message.

This message was not sent by us, and appears to be a phishing #scam.

#Reminder If you receive such messages, we advise you to:
Always verify the authenticity of the sender and information with relevant authorities.
🚩Not click URL links provided in unsolicited messages and emails.
🚩 Not disclose your personal information or OTPs to anyone.

We are aware that a caller using a spoofed landline number (+65 6396 1205) is impersonating an LTA officer on the pretext of informing some members of public that their vehicles have been involved in hit-and-run incidents.

⚠️ These calls were not made by LTA. We urge members of the public to exercise caution and refrain from divulging personal information to unfamiliar parties.

#Reminder When in doubt, always verify the information with relevant authorities.
#PSA 📢 We will be trialling a new dedicated Sunday Cycling Lane along West Camp Road from 16 Oct 2022! 🚲

Demarcated by solid blue lines, the cycling lane can only be used by buses 🚌 and cyclists 🚴🏽‍♀️ during the operating hours, i.e. every Sunday from 5am-11am. The trial will be in place for about 6 months. 🗓

We are aware of the latest phishing scams relating to outstanding payments from LTA. These come in several SMS variants and they purport to be requesting for different types of payments such as fines or bills through suspicious-looking hyperlinks (not gov.sg!)
 
We do not request for payment via URL links in SMS alerts on offence notices, vehicle registration and licensing matters.
 
#Reminder if you receive such messages:
 Dos
1️⃣Verify the authenticity of the information. You can check outstanding fines and six-month history of vehicle-related offences on the OneMotoring website. (https://onemotoring.lta.gov.sg/)  
2️⃣ If required, make payment through LTA’s e-Payment Services, Internet Banking or at AXS and SAM stations
3️⃣ Report payment frauds immediately to the 🏦 bank or the 👮‍♀️Police.
