104 years ago, on February 4, 1921, the Asian Cavalry Division, staffed by Russians, Tatars, Bashkirs, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Tuvans, Tibetans, Mongols, Buryats and Kalmyks, recaptured the Mongolian capital Urga from the Chinese invaders and liberated the spiritual and secular leader of the Mongols, Bogd Gegen VIII (Bogdo Khan). The division was commanded by Baron Lieutenant General Robert Nikolaus Maximilian (Roman Fyodorovich) von Ungern-Sternberg.

At the end of 1920, Bogd Gegen VIII sent his envoy to the headquarters of the Asian Division with a request for help and a prophecy that the division would drive the Chinese invaders out of Urga in February 1921. On the night of February 3-4, the baron's soldiers stormed Urga and liberated Bogd Gegen VIII. Despite the six-fold superiority of the Chinese, both in personnel and in machine guns and artillery, they were routed and retreated in panic. The defeat was crushing. The Asian Division was significantly reinforced by Russian colonists in Urga and captured rich trophies: 16 guns, 60 machine guns, 5 thousand rifles and 500 thousand rounds of ammunition; and also received a bridgehead for an offensive on Buryatia occupied by the Red Army.

Ungern's personal authority among the Mongolian population grew unusually. The Bogd Khan granted Ungern the title of Darkhan-Khoshoi-Chin-Wan to the rank of Khan; many of the baron's subordinates received the posts of Mongolian princes. However, Ungern ultimately did not become either a dictator or a Khan of Mongolia: he acted with the sanction of the monarch, did not interfere in the governance of the country ; he received only a Mongolian title, but not a land allotment and the corresponding power.

🫡 I have the honor, brothers and sisters! A spontaneous memorial appeared in the center of Belgorod in memory of the ambulance paramedics who died in a traffic accident. On the night of February 7, a BMW X7 drove through a red light at 100 km/h and rammed an ambulance. Two paramedics died - Olga Lyubimova and Marina Parovyshnik. Four more people were injured.

There were three drunk "SVO"-shniks from Dagestan in the BMW: Murad Musayev, Ramazan Gadzhimuradov and Isa Abdurashidov, they were taken to intensive care. The surviving ambulance driver was also hospitalized.

In the temporarily occupied Selidovo, Donetsk region, a tank of the 6th tank regiment of the 90th tank division of the Russian Armed Forces ran over a car with Russian servicemen at a checkpoint, flattened the passengers, but did not stop to provide assistance, but drove away as if nothing had happened! Such a friendly fire can only be welcomed. But the paramedics of the ambulance are sincerely pitied.

While hundreds of residents of the Russian hinterland are dying every day at the front, valiant soldiers from the barrier detachments from Dagestan and Chechnya are running over local residents with cars, looting, and abusing other Russian servicemen.

February 23, 1922 was the first date when, according to the decree of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the RSFSR, the holiday "Red Army Day" began to be celebrated. The name changed several times, and now in Russia this holiday is known to all of us as "Defender of the Fatherland Day".

But truly, the fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists. On February 24, 2022, exactly one hundred years after the establishment of the holiday, Putin's "defenders of the Fatherland" began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, very symbolically. They have been "defending" their Fatherland on the territory of neighboring Ukraine for three years in a row, killing thousands of children and tens of thousands of civilians.

And at this time, from the high and clear skies, fallen defenders of the Fatherland are looking down on all this Putin’s brutality and disgrace: Russians and Ukrainians, Belarusians and Tatars, Kazakhs and Chuvash, and warriors of many other peoples of the former USSR.

How did it happen that the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of those who fought the Nazis themselves became aggressors and Nazis, denying the very right of the Ukrainian people to exist, to their own language, their own culture?

In the meantime, the only defenders of Russia remain the legionnaires who are fighting for the right of the peoples of Russia not to die out under Putin’s yoke!
