Hi, hello, how are you? Good morning, etc kinda messages are likely to get ignored.

It's recommended to go straight to the point, but if you ever feel the need to say good morning, evening, hi, etc; immediately accompany it with your reason for reaching out so we can get straight to it.

Sending just Hi and waiting for a reply before going to the point is not advisable, as the reply you are waiting for may never come.

Some days there're just too many things to deal with and seeing so many contact form submissions from the websites with just a "hi" or a period (.) in the entire messages is just frustrating.

Imagine coding a new feature or messaging a representative of another company on possible partnership that will benefit our platform users, and then someone messages via the support bot, so you quickly decided to assist them with their issue only to see
"Hi", you reply
"Hi, how may I assist you?" Only for the person to ask you
"How are you doing?" Like seriously, 🤦‍♂ I guess the person didn't see the "how may I assist you?" part.

Straight to the point is the best, especially if you need assistance, it will always ensure you get attended to as soon as we're available.
