Government of India: "Do you follow the law of the land?"

Twitter: "We follow our own policies"

They have no idea what they're getting themselves into. Should have stayed a social media platform rather than the arbiters of truth.
"Why aren't you doing x?" "I don't do x" "Everyone else does it" "That's precisely why" I've had this conversation about alcohol, reefer, drugs, buying index funds, watching TV, things that involve trading time for money, etc. They still don't get it.

Twitter in Indian parliamentary hearing:

We "promote" what we think are "healthy" Tweets and "demote" those which were "not healthy" tweets

Also Twitter:

Thinks it's the pinnacle of freedom of expression.
Have you ever seen a feminist male who had muscle? Neither have I.
I haven't been spending much time on social media lately, and it's quite pleasant. Remember, you are supposed to use the platform, not get used by the platform.

Most celebrities are non-intellectuals that just say what they think sounds good/virtuous and what they think their fans want to hear. There is no correlation between their words and their actions. Of course they're role models for the masses.

Stop asking: "why does this always happen to me?" Start asking: "what am I doing that's attracting this?" You will have your answers.

You can tell how plugged in someone is by how much they trust the news.

Good measures of a person's seriousness level: - Income - Physical fitness Having a high income and being fit takes a lot of dedication over a long period of time. Unserious people are low on both.

This is the internet age. Your priority should be building marketable skills, not building a marketable resume.

Physical skills: - Learn to swim - Learn to kick and throw a punch - Learn to consciously lower your heart rate (useful in times of fear and anxiety)

Use social media for business, not for wasting your time.
Lockdown is a great time to do a big bulk. You can look fat without it becoming an issue.
Be so good that people call you "privileged". At a certain point, you're so far ahead that you're essentially being accused of cheating.

Most people who have "no idea what I want to do" simply haven't tried enough new things. They aren't action takers, they're people who sit on the sofa waiting for the answer to hit them. Never going to happen.
