The Israeli military says it is close to taking control of Bint Jbeil, a Hezbollah stronghold in southern Lebanon, after killing over 150 Hezbollah fighters.

The operation, led by the 98th Division with paratroopers, commandos, and the Givati Brigade, involved surrounding the town to block reinforcements and escape routes.

The IDF estimated that around 150 Hezbollah fighters, including elite Radwan Force members, were in the area before the operation.
