Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Region:
@KurdishFrontNews
"Despite the Kurdistan Regional Governmentโs longstanding commitment to peace and stability, its clear position that it has not been and will not become part of war or regional tensions, and despite the announcement of a ceasefire in the area, several drone attacks targeted different locations across the Kurdistan Region at various times on the night of Thursday, 9 April 2026. The drones were intercepted and destroyed.
The Kurdistan Region and its citizens had been looking forward to a return to normal conditions. Unfortunately, however, terrorists and malicious actors, who cannot tolerate the peace and progress of our country, continue their acts of aggression.
We reaffirm our support for peace and stability and call on all sides to halt these attacks and to refrain from targeting the stability and peace of Kurdistan or the interests of its citizens."

Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem:
It (Israel) has repeatedly shifted its objectivesโat times seeking to reach the Litani River, at others attempting limited advances, then control through firepower, or relying on destruction alone.
Yet, throughout more than forty days of aggression, it has failed to stop rockets, shells, and drones from reaching its settlements, near and far, extending to Haifa and beyond.
The enemy was taken by surprise by the resistanceโs tacticsโthe flexibility of its fighters, their defensive capabilities, and their legendary courage.
