For years USA have been negotiating with Iranians, what did they gain from Iranians? Even if negotiations continue for centuries it won't benefit. The negotiations are giving Iran a break to breathe.
The ceasefire is fragile and it's possible that they will return to war.
The Arab states don't want to attack Iran. They want to build themselves which is what Iran hates to see.
The biggest loser is Iran. They have been ended and destroyed.
Those who are sitting with Americans and negotiating are those that Americans have kept alive. They could have killed them similar to how they killed those above them. In Iran there's no strong alternative to IRGC and that can get rid of it.
So they decided to negotiate with Ghalibaf who is close to IRGC and IRGC trusts him so they kept him alive. They could have killed him and Araghchi in minutes.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir says the fighting against Hezbollah in Lebanon is the military's "primary combat zone."
"The IDF is in a state of war, we are not in a ceasefire. We continue to fight here in this sector, this is our primary combat zone," he said during a visit to the outskirts of Bint Jbeil yesterday, where the IDF has been battling Hezbollah.

Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) says 125,630 civilian sites were damaged during 39 days of hostilities that began on Feb. 28, 2026, before a temporary two-week ceasefire.
IRCS breakdown:
About 100,000 residential units (some completely destroyed), 23,500 commercial sites, 339 health facilities (clinics and pharmacies), 32 universities, 857 schools, 20 Red Crescent centers, and 15 infrastructure sites (fuel depots, airports, civilian aircraft).
Amnesty International says people in Iran experienced roughly 1,000 hours of internet disruption during the same period, calling it “digital darkness” and urging authorities to restore access immediately.

"Tomorrow, Saturday, April 11 of this month, we will complete the prisoner exchange operation that was previously announced. 400 prisoners from our heroic sons will be released to return to their families and loved ones."
"In parallel with this, a new batch of detainees held by us will be released in a humanitarian step aimed at closing this file."
"The meeting point and reception of the freed prisoners will be at Al-Sabbagh Roundabout in the city of Hasakah at exactly 2:00 PM."
This step comes within the framework of implementing the agreement of January 29.
This operation falls within the ongoing efforts to strengthen the foundations of social and security stability in the region.
We affirm our firm commitment to serving the sons of our people and working to ensure their security and stability.
