To provide better trading services for our valued users, KuCoin is going to upgrade the trading system at 04:30:00 am, December 02, 2021 (UTC). The upgrade will take about 1.5 hours.

During this period, the following functions will be affected: 

1. KuCoin will suspend all Spot and Margin trading pairs on Web, App and Open API, including the order-matching, order placing, order cancelling. 

2. KuCoin Futures will suspend the order-matching, order-placing, stop loss/take profit, auto-deposit margin and other related features on Web, App and Open API. 

3. The following services will be unstable temporarily：

Account Login, Deposit, Withdraw, Market Quotation View and Balance Transfer between accounts. 

4.The query function of "Open Orders", "Asset Balance" of API market on APP, WEB and Open API will be unstable temporarily.

5. Pool-X System/ Margin Lend and Borrow System will be unstable temporarily.

6. The Trading Bot will not provide services. Users can’t create or stop any trading bots. The running bots will not be affected.

7. During the upgrade period, the debt ratio notification, the liquidation procedure of the Margin account, and assets transfers will be suspended.

8. Leveraged Token trading, subscribe and redeem will be unavailable.

9. KuCoin Win system will be unstable temporarily.

10. KuCoin S will suspend trading and rebalance. Account login will be unstable temporarily.

11. The services of Fiat account, Third-Party Crypto purchase and P2P trade will be unstable temporarily.

10 minutes will be reserved to open the cancellation function before the end of upgrading. To avoid possible risks, you may prepare for risk control in advance.

Once the cancellation function is activated, we will notify by announcement as soon as possible, please pay close attention. 

Notice：

1. If a large price fluctuation occurs, we will postpone the upgrade accordingly and notify you via the announcement. 

2. To avoid possible risks, users of KuCoin Futures may enable the “Auto-Deposit Margin” feature or close positions in advance. 

3. During the upgrade period, order placing, order canceling, and order dealing will be suspended. Take profit/stop loss orders may be dealt with after the upgrade. Please cancel your orders in the Margin Market and Futures Market to avoid losses that may be caused by violent market fluctuations. 

Before the upgrade, please control the debt ratio well in advance to avoid the risk of liquidation caused by the high debt ratio at the end of upgrading. 10 minutes will be reserved to add the collateral in the Margin account before the end of upgrading. You can reduce the debt ratio by transferring funds to your Margin Account.

To further prevent the market risks, protect the rights and benefits of users and provide them with higher trading limit, KuCoin Futures is going to run the second upgrade to the risk limit level of the rest contracts at 08:00 on December 8, 2021 (UTC).

The upgrade will include the risk limit (that is, the nominal value), maximum available leverage, initial margin rate and the maintenance margin rate corresponded to each risk limit level of the rest contracts. Learn more about KuCoin Futures Risk Limit Level.

Notice:

1. Please refer to the updated Risk Limit Level to place an order. Please note that the current risk limit level is only supported on the Web. It will be updated on App in December.

2. The liquidation of the existing Futures positions of the above contracts are based on the current risk limit level. New positions opened after the scheduled upgrade will be executed based on the new risk limit level.

3. Users can adjust the risk limit level by themselves. To avoid liquidation, the system will automatically cancel all the open orders of users and replenish margin to the account during the upgrade. By the time, the liquidation price will also change according to the changes in the maintenance margin rate.
