🚶🏾‍♂️ I have gone to Future of Work Summit 2025 yesterday, it was a summit to get inspired, learn and network, I mean for real 🔥

🍀 On the summit's panel on Future of Work: Trends, Challenges, Opportunities I have learned that:-
💠 Every job seeker must grow himself technically and actively apply for jobs.
💠 Commitment matters as an individual in workspaces.
💠 The need for manpower in the world, has turned to Africa, which is crazy ⚡️
💠 AI is influencing the world and we have to use that influence in our favor.
💠 Communication is as mandatory as technical skills.

🖼 An idea by the Afriwork team which I loved was, you can get your professional picture for LinkedIn on the spot by a digital camera, which I got for myself 📸🔥

🫂 Networked with the marketing manager of ALX Ethiopia, which was wholesome moment to learn from an experienced professional working for a tech company as big as ALX.

✨ Appreciate the effort Afriwork Ethiopia have put into the summit 🙏🏾

☕️ Been on Cafe Cursor in Addis Yesterday!

🛬 Arrived a bit late, but the environment was super welcoming. The Community gifted everyone attended a 24-hour unlimited cursor credits.
🔖 The menu served looked like a Postman response 😁, which I found to be very creative and drinks listed were for free 🔥 (my friend even took two 😁)

🫂 The event was hosted mainly for networking. There were a lot of well-known and respected programmers which I had a chance of networking with.

⌨️ I have participated in a typing competition lost by a mile far (man, I need to be on monkeytype like a lot 😁), played a variety of games passionately and won stickers and a cursor t-shirt.

💡 Since I have participated on the first hackathon the community hosted, I recalled the collaborators, had words and took photos. The event was a moment to enjoy, network, vibe code and have memories with fellow coders.
