Why I Decided to Start Writing

For the past few years, I’ve been learning about entrepreneurship, business, and personal development. During those years, I was driven by the idea of having more, becoming better, working harder, achieving more, and building something meaningful.

But what if I eventually have everything I’ve ever wanted? Would that be enough? Even the people I’ve looked up to, who achieved incredible things and accomplished things most people could only dream of, eventually reached the same ending.

They died.

And now, many of the things they spent their entire lives working for are no longer in their hands.

That thought made me realize: if everything I pursue eventually ends with me, then what is the point of pursuing it all?

I’m not saying that business, ambition, success, wealth, or personal growth are meaningless. But I began to realize that they cannot be the ultimate purpose of my life.

As I’ve grown in my relationship with God, I’ve started to see something I didn’t recognize before. Somewhere along the way, I became too dependent on myself my own strength, my own willpower, and my own ability to figure everything out.

I began to understand that some of what I called ambition could also become pride when I placed myself at the center.

The more I learn about God, the more I understand that everything we do should glorify Him.

“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31

That doesn’t mean I stop working hard, trying to be great, building businesses, or becoming a better person.

Instead, it means learning to do those things with God and for His glory, rather than depending entirely on myself.

Maybe the goal isn’t simply to build something great.

Maybe the goal is to become faithful with what God has given me and use whatever I build to glorify Him.

So I decided to start writing.

I’ll be sharing what I’ve learned about business, entrepreneurship, personal life, and the lessons I’m discovering along the way.

Some of these thoughts will come from things I’ve experienced, some from things I’ve learned, and some from questions I’m still trying to understand.

I don’t have everything figured out.

I’m simply sharing what I’m learning, what I’m building, what I’m questioning, and, most importantly, what God is teaching me through it all.

If anything I write can help someone think differently, learn something, or draw closer to God, then I believe it is worth sharing.

This is the beginning.
