_SAMNET Training on how we can use Social Media as a Tool of Truth_

Israel and Zionist Supporters have an official and organized programme of Propaganda called *Hasbara*.

This includes home based women, youth and retirees to post, like and repost propaganda on Twitter/X, Facebook, WhatsApp and other platforms especially to the media.

The Hasbara run chat rooms for training, coordination and propogating false and PR info in away that seems inconspicuous and that influences the media, politicians, and public.

*Use Social media to win the war of hearts and minds*
To counter Israeli/Zionist attempts to hide their atrocities, from the world their atrocities by controlling the media The *South African Muslim Network (SAMNET)* trains people to participate in coordinated _Social Media Activism_ from their homes or where ever the are, using no more than a standard mobile phone.

We are looking to train and grow volunteers to use X (Twitter) in particular for social media activism.

While we are currently focusing on Palestine and Gaza, this will also include other areas of conflict and challenges like Education, Legislation and Political Participation.

SAMNET is planning training that will provide you with context and content on what to say, when and where post.

The training is intended to be available online and/or at the SAMNET office after Ramadan.

*Hasbara is Organized - So should We!*
Israel spends billions hiring social media experts and training individuals, using companies, specialists, analysts most of whom volunteer, to push the Israeli narrative, to cause divisions within Palestinian supporters and to proactively negate, undermine and cancel the Palestinian narrative.

*You _CAN_ Make a Difference*
Social media and the media are very powerful tools.
We can definitely make a huge impact by organizing ourselves through a structured social media campaign.

*What it takes?*
A few minutes of your time daily, or less frequently depending on your level of interest, free time and situation.

Anyone anywhere can be part of the Electronic Freedom Struggle be they Scholars, young individuals, university students, young people, home executives.
