1 - The Dunning-Kruger effect is a type of cognitive bias in which people believe that they are smarter and more capable than they really are. Essentially, low ability people do not possess the skills needed to recognize their own incompetence. The combination of poor self-awareness and low cognitive ability leads them to overestimate their own capabilities.

Negativity bias

You may recall a colleague or a friend who would dwell on one negative comment for days.

They are the people who would just not let it go...it would be hard to be around that person for longer than five minutes.
It's real. Some people get stuck in the negative and find it difficult to shift their thoughts.

It happens with children too. 
Everyone has the tendency to pay more attention to negative things —this phenomenon is called negativity bias.
It's so powerful that it can hijack our brains and affect work, friendships, learning, and even health.
