We're approaching 1848. Looking for a bottom here, we need strong support, we're target 1865. Small lot, tight stop

Quick note.

Right now Gold looks like it's going to go and test the lows again and fill the wick of the spike down. We're waiting patiently, no need to try and capture a few pips with high risk.

It's formed a pattern on the chart which we are monitoring closely.

Let's wait and see if a highly probable setup comes up in the next few hours.

So we got the wick fill below and our entry is still active. As mentioned, it's stop is just above entry now so we'll hold until we hit the target or it triggers the stop. Either way it's risk free.

Now we want to see support at 1855-50 or there about and we're on our way to our target

Our plan for today:

We're waiting for a retracement to around 1844-46 to Short the market with a target of 1832. It could go lower towards 1820 from there but we're happy with 1830 if it goes there.

If we get good support around the lower area we're going to go LONG (1830-1820) with a target of 1860

Good Evening. We're closing up for the week, Its been a week of two halves, we had positive trades for the first part and hit our SLs yesterday and today.

Gold broke its support and has now found support here at 1830. We're not buying even it goes up, we'll wait until Monday after we've analysed the markets. Technical indicators are suggesting we should go up next week, however, we will wait and assess the situation.
